Knicks Stay Hot, Win 9th Straight
As mentioned in my last article, which you can read here, the Knicks are on fire. The Knicks were already on the league's longest active win streak after winning their 8th consecutive game against the Hawks in overtime earlier this week. That win made the streak their longest in 7 seasons.
New York kept rolling on Saturday night, beating the Raptors 120-103. RJ Barrett had a great game, dropping 25 points with 12 rebounds. Derrick Rose continued his great play throughout this win streak with 19 points on 70% shooting & 7 assists. Julius Randle had 31 points & 10 boards, becoming the first Knick to have back-to-back 30 point 10 rebound games since Melo did it in 2013.
Speaking of 2013
The Knicks are now 7 games above .500 for the first time since the 2012-2013 season. They'll make the playoffs this year for the first time since that season as well.
This is tied for the Knicks 2nd longest win streak in the last 25 years. The Suns travel to the garden tomorrow night playing great basketball as well. We'll see if the Knicks get the winning streak to double digits.
